Yes, this is the merriest time of the year in S'pore. Daily thunderstorms cool our acursed weather and lower the humidity - this is probably the only time when taking 5 steps out of the house will not make your shirt soaked with perspiration..

Have been taking a few candid shots here and there, trying to capture the spirit of Christmas..

Is it the obscenely huge X'mas tree at Takashimaya that won't fit into my photo?

Is it the romantic set-up inside Wisma Atria where the creepy auntie dwells?

What about the electrifying angel which comes with a warning?

Or this splendid tree that might as well carry a sign that says "Come ye tourists, spend it all!"

Personally, this is what really epitomises the spirit of christmas in S'pore context..
