Taxi driver escapes with stern warning
Earlier this month, a taxi driver pissed me off with his lack of professionalism and unacceptable attitude. Almost 2 weeks after my complaint was lodged, the response finally arrived:
Dear Mr Goh
I refer to your report lodged on 12 January 2007 and wish to extend sincerest apologies for the unpleasant incident.
We have conducted an investigation and have issued a warning to the driver. He has also been reminded to adhere strictly to the service standards as set out by the company. The complaint has been included in his service record and we will monitor his performance closely.
We will continue to reinforce our communication and training efforts to push up service levels by our drivers. it is our desire that every commuter's experience with our taxi service is pleasant and comfortable. we will not hesitate to discipline errant drivers with proven service lapses.
Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
No fine or demerit points... Wat the fish...
